Free condoms and the East Sussex C-Card condom scheme

Free condoms

Free condoms are available at a number of sexual health services.

You can order condoms and lubricant via post or alternatively ask the reception staff at any sexual health clinic for packs of condoms.

Using condoms correctly is important and we encourage you to watch this condom demonstration video

The C-Card condom scheme for 13-24 year olds

The scheme allows you to get hold of condoms and lube free of charge from a range of outlets across East Sussex. It is for anyone between 13 and 25 years of age.

To register for a C-Card you will need to give some personal information. The person you will be seen by has been fully trained and the information you will be asked for will be kept secret and confidential and will not be able to be traced back to you by anyone else. They will talk to you about issues of safer sex and other information you should know.

After you have registered you can go to any pick-up point displaying the C-Card sign. This will include various youth agencies, specialist sexual health services and clinics, some GPs and pharmacies throughout East Sussex. All you have to do is give your C-Card to a member of staff.

They will take down your registration number and give you some condoms and your card back.

If you need any other information about sexual health services, they will be able to help you.

The number of C-Card outlets is growing all the time... Look out for places displaying the CCard logo
